Membership in NEIGHBORHOOD GROUP will be closing next week

Now that a tentative agreement with Paloma Resources has been reached, we need to finalize our member count.   If you live within the Neighborhood Group boundaries and are not a member of our group yet (as well as have not already signed a gas lease as an individual) you will need to have your information turned in by next Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the latest.  No exceptions.  After that, membership is closed.

If you know of someone who is still sitting on the fence, please advise them that time is running out.  All they need to do is a) download the Neighborhood Group member info sheet b) fill it out and sign it and c) get that information turned into to Bob Haelle at the address on the sheet. (Note: don’t mail this form if there is a chance it might not arrive before next Thursday).  This form does not bind you to anything.  It is just a form that states to Paloma that you wish to be considered as a part of our group in this gas lease arrangement.

You are free to sign with anyone you please but if you decide to do so you are doing outside of our group’s purview and acting and negotiating as an individual.  In order to receive the contract considerations that are being negotiated, you must be on our roster as part of our group by next Thursday.   Good luck.

Time is ticking! Help grow our group even more.

Last Friday I posted a recap about our successful resident meeting the previous night, Thursday where approximately 300 neighbors turned out. In that post I mentioned Bob’s announcement that the cutoff date to join NEIGHBORHOOD GROUP would be extended to include any folks who, to date, have not yet had the opportunity to turn in their signed group information form.

My blog post today is just a note for you to remind and encourage your next door neighbor that there is still time to join with us. But they need to act QUICKLY. We want to keep it open as long as possible but that window of opportunity will close sooner rather than later. I don’t have a firm date of when that will happen so in order to avoid being left out in the cold, tell your neighbor to join our group of homeowners.

If they need a NEIGHBORHOOD GROUP information form they they can click the link below to download a copy. They’ll need to print it, fill it out, sign it and then return it to Bob Haelle at the address on the form.

Thanks for your continued support and dedication to this cause.

Wanted: A minute-taker for our next meeting

We are looking for someone to help us with the Neighborhood Group meeting this coming Thursday, December 6, 2007. Specifically, we are looking for someone to take minutes of the meeting. We need to get the information of what is discussed in our meeting encapsulated clearly and concisely, not just for the record but for the benefit of those members who won’t be able to attend. If you have any experience taking minutes and could help us out we would be very grateful. Please contact Ron at arlingtongasdrilling@gmail.com for further information. Thank you for your support.

Coronet Estates Neighbor Action Needed! Please Read On

[from an email I sent out to the group earlier]

Coronet Estate Neighbors and Friends:
In preparation for our upcoming homeowners meeting (I’ll announce details tomorrow or Thursday at the latest) I would like to have certain things in place.

One of the most important negotiating tools that we need when we get ready for face-to-face negotiations with the gas leasing company is a complete list of homeowners who are standing united in this effort to secure the best lease terms possible.

At the appropriate time we want to be able to provide hard copies comprised of a very long list of neighbors in Coronet Estates and adjacent neighborhoods who have decided to join the effort to negotiate the optimal lease for our mineral rights.

However, in order to do this we need your help!

Below you will see a link to a secure form where you can fill out some information that we need to have for our negotiations. It is a short form that only asks for basic information. Please take 5 minutes to fill out this form.

UPDATE:  The leasing companies have indicated to us that when we begin face-to-face negotiations they will be looking for signatures from all of our group members as a way for them to verify who is participating in our group.

For this reason, we are discontinuing the online homeowners information collection.  Instead, we are providing a form (Word document) that you can download, fill out and sign, and mail to:

Bob Haelle at 4012 Coronet Ln., Arlington, TX  76017

If you already filled out the online form, we will mail or drop by a form that is pre-filled with the information you provided.  The only thing you would need to do is sign it and mail it to the address above.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we want to have all of the right information in the correct formt when we approach the leasing companies for negotiations.

Thanks for understanding.

Thanks in advance for your support and for sticking with us. Together we will succeed!

Ready for a Neighborhood meeting? We need your input!

I’ve set up a very small survey (3 questions) to get a feel for what would be the best day of the week and time to hold our neighborhood gas lease meeting.

Would you take 5 minutes to complete this survey so we can schedule our meeting ASAP? Also, I’ve placed a comment box on the survey where you can add your burning questions about gas leases, drilling, negotiations, or any other pertinent topic. We’ll compile the survey results and questions and advise you when the meeting will be.

Update:  Survey is now closed.  Thank you for your participation.

We need your help. Can we count on you?

Our group is growing BUT WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP URGENTLY!

We want to grow our neighborhood group as LARGE and as QUICKLY as we can. The larger our group becomes the more negotiating leverage we have. That’s just the facts of how the “game” is played.

However, to grow large and do it quickly, we need your help. TODAY!

Here’s what you can do: Take five minutes to call or go next door and wish 3 to 5 neighbors a Happy Thanksgiving. While you’re at it let them know what we are doing and encourage them to join you and us in our efforts to secure a favorable deal for our mineral rights!

Tell them to email Bob Haelle [bobhaelle (at) hotmail.com] or me [arlingtongasdrilling (at) gmail.com] – with their name, address and phone number to get on our mailing list. Then ask them to stop by our blog for the latest news and updates. The blog can be found by going to https://arlingtongasdrilling.wordpress.com/.

Not only will you be giving this group (that means YOUR group) a big boost, but you’ll get better acquainted with your neighbors as well.

Keep the momentum going!

Thank you in advance for your help and participation!!
