A short lesson on the gas drilling procedure

There is a very good Flash video presentation on the Dale Resources website about how a company goes about extracting gas (and oil) from the ground. The graphics are excellent and the video is a good primer on the process of gas drilling and extraction without a lot of technical jargon. Click on the “video” graphic near the bottom of the screen to start the movie.

There is also a 3D interactive presentation of an oil/gas rig on the same page where the viewer can click on various components of the drill rig and drill site to find out what each one is and what it does. A great tool for visual learners.
